Learning

I personally love to learn, it may be for perfectly selfish reasons. I like to feel smarter than people so yeah that sounds mean, I don’t mean for it to be.

Whatever back to the point of this posting. I was watching are you smarter than a fifth grader. I realized how much of a chore learning is! When I went to school there were nine planets! How do you go all those years saying something’s a planet then all of a sudden decide “Wait a second! That’s too small!” You can’t do that! Now all those little rhymes to help you remember the planets order don’t work! My personal favorite, My Very Eager Mother Just Served Us Nine Pizzas. Haha cute right?

And apparently they added a new ocean in 2000! Like what the heck! Whhhhyyyyy what was the point of that? I just don’t get it. I don’t know anyone who was unhappy with our current number of oceans. Why did we even need to spilt that up to begin with, it’s all connected. But let me not say lest they get the idea to re-reconfigure our oceans!

Learning physics was kind of a waste too because of the discovery of the subatomic particles that can travel faster than light. Although that is no ones fault and was not just some ludicrous change for no reason and frankly I find that amazingly fascinating.

So I really just wanted to vent. Anyone out there feel the same way? That they need to stop it with those bogus changes? There are too many things they need to change in our school system and this just makes it all the more complicated for the older generation (I mean even me and I’m 16) help kids with there homework.

Bored

I am actually kind of bored right now. I wanna draw a picture of something but I don’t know what. Does anyone have any suggestions? I can mainly draw people not objects but I suppose I can if I really set my mind to it. If you want to see it I’ll post it in my next post bur I need suggestions!

Anyway I want to the museum to today and got some  excellently cute pictures of my brothers and daycare kids I’ll post some of the best ones and maybe just some of the exhibits.

My brothers are the twins in blue and the older boy in green. We had fun today but it is Delaware so it was a small museum and didn’t take very long.

I learned how to from a girl on YouTube. I kinda wanna credit her but I’m kinda lazy and don’t wanna look. Okay I will just to be fair.

I finished my lady gaga book today and I learned so much more about her from it. So I think I should go on strange addictions, I go to the store and any one that has a magazine rack I’ll literally scour for lady gaga. And I could spend hours looking at her pics and news articles on the Internet. I don’t get on too often but when I do some of the time is usually always spent on gaga. Maybe if I did go on strange addictions lady gaga would come see me. How awesome would that be! My dream to meet her would be realized! Alas most of it would be spent fainting or crying from the pure bliss and joy. And omg lady gaga may be getting he own fashion line!!!! Not anytime soon according to my sources (lol a teen mag I read while in line at the grocery store) but maybe eventually. And her perfume has been rumored to come out in 2012 for years. I can’t wait.

Autocorrect fails

Autocorrects really make my day. I love them, they always make me laugh. My personal favorite is this one:

I slept in till 1 today just cuz I could. And I have to get up at 8 tomorrow so it basically like going to work.
I realize I named this autocorrect and didn’t say to much about that, well for the sake of this post I say more about them. I spent like hours reading them. And now I sound like a computer nerd with no life but whatever I know who I am so doesn’t matter if people think un true things. Lol let me post more autocorrect fails!

Randomness

It has been a couple of days since my last post not that anyone cares. So on bridezilla this lady hasn’t brushed her hair in 2 days and obviously hasn’t washed it in a while. That is so nasty! Anyway my new iPod got here a couple of days ago! I can finally use all those kool talking apps and take pictures. Plus you can actually change the background so I dont have to look at plain blackness. And I got a totally awesome blinded out case for it.

The other day I got a Lady Gaga book. I have another one I have not finished reading yet but this one is basically like a giant magazine, it has pictures and whatnot.

Never got to that story I mentioned in an earlier post but it doesn’t matter.

A fun day at work.

So today was my last real day at work WHOOO HOOO!!!! My adviser and my partner’s adviser took us out to lunch today to La Tolteca. I got the taco salad and I do not recommend it at all but their salsa was amazing! When we got back me and my partner got all decked out in our lab goggles and gloves to clean out bottles. After that there was nothing else to do after that so my partner goes “Let’s pull a prank on Devon (my adviser) for stealing Brian’s (his adviser) goggles.”  Prior to this he led her to believe he had this huge planned out prank. We went into her office and he says “I honestly have nothing planned,”  but he pulls out a pack of balloons and suggests drawing faces all over them and statically placing them around his desk. We got Brian in on it and another undergrad in her office (not sure of her name).

Now, you may be wondering how we made sure it was her that came into the office so that the confetti fell on her. Well dear reader I called her cell phone, told her there were problem with her computer and I needed help.

Ah what  a great way to end work.

Procrastinating!

So I am actually supposed to be working on my research essay for work…  well I am getting some done but it boring. I’m excited because the end of work is coming up!!!! Friday is the last day and in the morning I have nothing to do so I hitting main street with one of my bestfriends, Jacky. Then from 12-2 I’m doing a poster presentation on my research which will be the equivalent of a grown up science fair. Then I’m FREE!!!! For all of two weeks then it’s back to school ‘sigh’. I had better get back to the essay ‘sigh again’ and then I feel like writing a story, so maybe I will, in the next post.

First post

So this is my first post! How exciting is that!? I suppose that I will use this one to tell everyone a little about myself.  I am 16 and I’m about to be senior in high school. That’s a little scary because now I have to apply to college!  This  is me I posing with my Heartbeats for a Edge of Glory contest, it’s the only picture of me on this computer.

Well as you may have noticed, I LOVE Lady Gaga. In fact it’s most likely what could be called obsession but, you will probably read a lot about what’s going on with her.  Like the other day she was on the cover of a magazine, Short Hair I believe, and while that in itself is nothing special, this magazine was! Normally there may be one article about Mother Monster in a zine she’s on the cover of, but this one was ALL Gaga! There’s even a college course about her! anyway This isn’t her blog it’s mine so…  Today at work I was watching Shane Dawson and iJustine videos (no I was not goofing off I was on break) and they are hilarious!!!! Youtube is awesome and I want to maybe make videos like that and like song parodys but I don’t know if any of my friends will do it with me so maybe just a vlog or something. I have a camera but I think it’ll be so much easier once I get my new iPod so I can record and edit on the actual device rather then putting it on the computer and spend a ton of time editing only to realize Youtube DOESN’T ACCEPT VIDEOS FROM THAT EDITOR!!!!  It’s back to school soon and that’s almost bittersweet. I didn’t have much of a summer what with my 8-week internship, but money is money. I think this has been a good enough first post so I signing off, see ya!
